Pre-Construction
Advise on viability and suitability of development projects through residual land valuations.
Liaise with Health and Safety advisors on any projects, site visits and compilation of method statements and risk assessments.
Advise clients on their duties under the current CDM regulations.
Procure sub-contractors for works as necessary, produce tender documentation for sub-contract packages, check for compliance and advise on most suitable.
Price and quote for various trade packages at sub-contract and main contractor levels.
Undertake cost control and value engineering exercises with the client, participate in sub-contractor workshops to advise on buildability of the works.

Construction
Manage and organise site activities for various trade packages, responsible for labour, plant and materials.
Liaise with site management on progress, health and safety, programme and valuation of the works, advise on technical details for alternative construction methods and products.
Responsible for the commercial activities during construction, valuing change, issuing applications for payments, early warning, site records and monitoring programme against current progress.
Report to clients on cost v value as works progress, discuss and flag any potential problem areas.
Represent owners or adjoining owners in party wall agreements
Post Construction
Collate documentation for the Health and Safety file including any operations and maintenance manuals.
Issue, agree and manage final accounts.
Monitor obligations at the end of the defects liability period.
Manage and obtain any outstanding retention monies.
Advise on various dispute resolution procedures and lead any adjudication proceedings. As a minimum all employees hold Associate membership to the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
End of defect inspections and final making good certification.
